Creative Parenting: Raising Ourselves
to Raise Our Children
Time & Location08 Oct 2025, 19:00 – 20:30
The Hague Natural Health Centre, Badhuisstraat 224, 2584 HN Den Haag, Netherlands
About the event
Do you long to support your child’s emotional well-being in a way that also nurtures your own? Are you curious about how your inner life—as a parent—shapes your relationship with your child?
Join us for a heart-opening workshop exploring the power of imaginative parenting. In this session, we’ll look at how deepening our own emotional awareness can transform not only how we raise our children, but how we relate to ourselves.
We’ll use the creative, intuitive practice of guided imagery—a gentle but profound method developed at the School of Images®—to explore the emotional patterns, stories, and beliefs we may carry from our own childhood, and how these may unconsciously shape our parenting.
Guided imagery is a powerful tool for personal growth. Through short, imaginal exercises (that feel more like daydreams than effortful meditations), we bypass overthinking and drop into a place of clarity and emotional truth. It’s a way of seeing with the inner eye—of accessing deep insight, even when words fall short.
These same practices, adapted for children through the DreamKids® program, support emotional resilience, creativity, and the development of inner resources. Children naturally live in their imaginations—this is their native language. When parents learn to “speak” that language, it opens the door to connection, healing, and joy.
In this warm, welcoming space, we’ll:
Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or simply interested in conscious personal development, you’re warmly welcome. No experience with imagery or meditation is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to explore.
