About Sheona McEwan
Bilingual Therapist & Educator for Expat Children and Families in The Hague & Online
I'm Sheona McEwan, a Scottish–Dutch bilingual counselor, educator, and imagery practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families across the globe. A Holistic Approach to Supporting Children
While living in Thailand, I became increasingly interested in holistic and creative approaches to child development. I trained in mindfulness for children (.b Foundation) and completed certification in Saphire® Guided Imagery with Dr. Catherine Shainberg at the School of Images in New York.
Today, I combine this expertise in education, counseling, and imagery to offer a unique therapeutic approach that supports the whole child—emotionally, socially, and academically.
Founder of DreamKids™ – Imagery for Children
Alongside Dr. Catherine Shainberg, I co-created DreamKids™, an innovative program that uses guided imagery, waking dreaming, and storytelling to help children access their inner world, manage big emotions, and discover their own problem-solving strengths.
